We haven't been blessed with the greatest of weather so far this summer, save for a few weeks back in April I can't really recall Paul coming home without some damp kit. But he was hopeful for this weeks ML Assessment, which got off to... yep a pretty showery start!
With everything crossed for a change in the forecast I dropped the group of for their expedition just as the glorious morning sunshine disappeared behind a cloud and the first drops of rain fell. Ah...
I always think about Paul and the group out on the hill, but that evening as the rain beat down on the windows I really did feel for them as I pictured them heading out on their night nav.
By the time Friday came and the end of their expedition, the sun had well and truely decided to shine, turning up the temps to something more like August. I picked up the group in great spirits with tales of zero visibility, persistant rain, a heatwave and some photos of just about the most beautiful reflection ever! Oh an four newly qualified Mountain Leaders, congratulations!!
