WHAT DOES THE COURSE COVER?
The Lowland Leader Syllabus is delivered over 2 days in North Wales practically and supported by evening lectures.

WHERE DO WE MEET?
We will normally meet you in Capel Curig at 0900, we will confirm the time and place when you reserve your place.
All instruction by an approved Mountain Training provider.
WHAT"S NOT INCLUDED
You will need to complete a booking form and full payment will need to be made at the time of booking.

DO I NEED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE?
You must be at least 17 years old
You should have an interest in leading groups in lowland countryside
You must be registered on the Lowland Leader Award scheme
You must have recorded a minimum of 10 varied walks in Lowland terrain where the use of a map is required (ideally these will be recorded on the Digital Logbook) which can have taken place at any point (pre- or post-registration)
WHO WILL RUN MY COURSE?
All courses are run by myself, occasionally if I have to use another Instructor then I will inform you of that. I don’t use instructors unknown to me or who aren’t close friends. The small team that I use are equally as qualified, experienced and keen to share their enthusiasm of the mountains in a relaxed and safe manner.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
You should ensure you are appropriately equipped to spend a couple of days walking. I will send you a detailed kit list when you confirm your place.
